Description

Photograph by Roger Stalley. Detail of the junction between the rere - arches of two (of three) deeply splayed lancet windows in the north wall of the north transept. The arches have a stiff - leaf foliage label stop, stiff - leaf bell capital and roll - and - fillet arch mouldings. The endélit shaft below the capital is now missing. The curve of the left hand arch, the central of the three, is adjusted to a flatter pitch in order to accommodate a quatrefoil rose window directly above.
