St Patrick's Cathedral, Cashel, Co Tipperary, interior - north transept

North elevation has a stringcourse and triple lancet windows with rere - arches treated with roll - and - fillets and multiple annulets, and foliate capitals the central light is surmounted by a rose window. There is a niche below the stringcourse. The south elevation has pointed arches giving onto the two transept chapels. There are quatrefoil niches over the apices of the arches and a trefoil headed niche in the spandrel between them. The arch mouldings are chamfered.
